EZShifa and the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance healthcare accessibility and affordability. The MOU aims to leverage cutting-edge technology and operational expertise to improve telehealth and telemedicine services.
COMSATS, an intergovernmental organization representing 27 developing countries, has had a flagship program on Telehealth since 2001. EZShifa, a pioneer in the healthcare sector, aims to deliver accessible, affordable, and high-quality primary healthcare services. Under the leadership of COMSATS Executive Director Dr. M. Nafees Zakaria and EZShifa Chief Operating Officer Adnan Siddiqui, the collaboration will enhance the Telehealth program, develop biomedical devices, and engage in academic training activities.
